Meet the Staff
Yul
Yul is a Registered Dental Assistant, who has been working at Children’s Dentistry since 2005. Yul is passionate about food and loves exploring the Bay Area for great restaurants, but his all-time favorite food is any type of spicy barbecue. For fun, Yul enjoys running and biking. Yul also has an awesome black terrier that he named Mr. Wiggles because he is constantly wiggling and can never stay still.
Amanda
Amanda is a Registered Dental Assistant with over ten years of experience. She enjoys working in pediatric dentistry because of her love and enthusiasm for children. She believes that each child’s visit should be a fun and comfortable experience. She is fluent in Chinese and Vietnamese, but likes learning about all the different cultures that the Bay Area represents. In her spare time, she likes to read, shop, take care of her children, and spend time with friends and family.
April
April is new to the dental field and is excited to learn all about it. She loves the Bay Area with all of its great food, beautiful nature trails, and fun things to do. She likes to play games with her family and friends, read, and try out new restaurants.
Monica
Monica has over 10 years experience as a dental assistant and treatment coordinator. When she’s not working, Monica loves to spend quality time with her husband Ed and her three children: Prince, Junior and Brooklyn. She also enjoys cooking, running the bay trails, and hanging out with her friends.
Kevin
Kevin is a recent graduate from the University of California, Berkeley and is excited to meet everyone and learn more about dentistry. He is planning to attend dental school after his time here at Children’s Dentistry. Kevin enjoys eating all kinds of Asian cuisine in the Bay Area. In his free time, he enjoys playing tennis, running, and playing board games with his buddies.
Rizwan
We would like to welcome our new dental intern, Rizwan, to our office! Originally from Goa, India, Rizwan moved to the US to get his B.S. from VCU. Rizwan aspires to attend dental school in the future. While working under Dr. Nick, he hopes to attain a better understanding of the dental field. In his free time, he enjoys staying fit and watching movies.
Our Personal Vision
We aim for the practice is one in which the commitment to excellence in care for our patients is our first priority. While our practice goals are very important, they should never take priority over our patients needs. We envision a staff that shares the same vision and works as a team. We would be fully committed to providing service in a loving and compassionate manner in such a way that the patient and parent are treated better than they have ever been treated before.
An atmosphere would be created where each team member’s ideas are heard, respected, and encouraged. All team members would feel loved and supported and feel good about themselves. They would be there because they know that they can make an important positive difference in other people’s well being, and oral health. Such excellence in relationships will create an atmosphere of positive energy and enthusiasm that will pervade the office, and will attract new patients to our services.
